RoosterFin Game Night
I love Tryazon! I was selected to host a RoosterFin game night and try a few of their games, for FREE!
Visit their website:
I noticed right away that this company was started by a former teacher, so I knew it had great potential! I received 3 games in the mail: Monkeys Up, Pong Cano, and Turtle Flip. I had some friends test the games, children 10-14 enjoyed all three! These are ALL educational games that could be used in upper elementary/middle school classrooms.
Thank you #tryazon and #roosterfin for this opportunity!

Influenster Vox Box "Cheers to You!"
I love free stuff! I love receiving a new product, trying it out, and sharing my opinion. When I found out I was going to receive the "Cheers to You" Vox Box from Influenster, I was pumped! Included in my box: Dr. Teal's Pure Epson Salt Soaking Solution Soothe & Sleep with Lavender, Suave Professionals Coconut Oil Damage Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, Hormel Taco Meat (coupon), Way Better Snacks Simply So Sweet Chili Corn Tortilla Chips, and information on the Yaye App. So far: I LOVED the Dr. Teal's soak! I used a small amount in my new foot spa, it left my feet feeling smooth and soft! Next, the shampoo and conditioner smell fantastic! I love Suave products, they're reasonable, easy to find, and good to my hair! The chips are great - spicy but not too hot. At only 170 calories for a 1.25 oz package, this is something I can see myself snacking on in the future. I haven't tried to the Yaye App or the taco meat, but you'd better believe I'll keep you posted! Thanks #influenster for this opportunity. #SuaveBeauty #TacoGoals #YayeMadeMeDoIt #SnackWayBetter #SoakWithDrTeals

Influenster Review: Airbrush Perfect Legs by Sally Hansen
I love freebies! So you can imagine how excited I was to receive my first sample in the mail for review from Influenster. Just getting mail was pretty exciting! I opened the box and found a small bottle of Airbrush Legs "Leg Makeup" from Sally Hansen, a $2 off coupon, and instructions. The "medium" color matched my summer skin tone pretty well. The instructions say to use a quarter size amount on each leg. I only did one leg, so I could compare. Overall, I was happy with the results. Some small scars and other imperfections were no longer noticeable. I plan to save the rest of the makeup for the future - maybe a wedding or other fancy event - as I do not need "Perfect Legs" on a daily basis. I love that the product is waterproof and won't stain clothing. Thanks #influenster, I'm looking forward to many more opportunities like this!

Round 2
Here it is, August again! Another year of school is underway (well, halfway underway...as Palco doesn't start til next Monday!) I cannot believe how fast time goes!
I had an absolutely wonderful summer! A trip to Florida, followed by Vegas, a huge graduation party, and lots of visiting with the family. Coming back was rough...but I made it!
I'm lacking the motivation to be back in the school routine yet. When I'm at school with the kids, I'm lovin it, but it's been hard for me to spend time lesson planning and such. Instead, I've been facebooking, shopping, and catching up on missed TV (did anyone else realize "Real World Cancun" ran through the summer?)
Speaking of the real world, I feel a bit shut off from it. I know everyone is busy, but it just seems like the opportunities to call and catch up are few and far between. A big switch from the summer lifestyle I had grown accustomed to!
Heading out to the big city of Hays this morning, returning some movies to the Redbox (I highly recommend "I Love You Man" but "17 Again" not so much...

The End
I started this blog back in August, as the school year was beginning. Now, it has come to an end. Wow!
Life is good, I am glad to be "done" for a few months.
Just returned from Kansas State FFA Convention, which was an awesome experience! There were two magnificant speakers, I recommed you look up Grant Baldwin and Ed Gerety, both shared a great message with the students.
I had the opportunity to help at the Rooks County Spring Show yesterday. It was really awesome to see young exhibitors showing beef, sheep, and swine, and all of the knowledge they posses.
Today is my first real day of vacation, I slept in til 8:00 AM...wow. I have lots to do, clean this place up, maybe run to Hays, and enjoy this beautiful weater!
